In a micro irrigation system maintenance is more detail oriented. The problems always come from poor design or choice of unsuitable equipment, poor maintenance and excessively long watering run times (common among beginners with this technique).

The irrigation efficiency (which must be between 85-95 %), can be achieved only with the right operation, management and maintenance.
